Judge Hajj and Issa improve legal cooperation

The Public Prosecutor of the Conseil de la Justice, Judge Ahmad Rami Al-Haj, welcomed the U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon, Michel Aissa, at the Palace of Justice to discuss enhancing judicial cooperation between the two countries. The meeting addressed the possibility of exchanging information and equipment to support the capabilities of the Lebanese judiciary, as well as ways to pursue Lebanese individuals holding U.S. citizenship who are accused of committing crimes in the United States. Washington reaffirmed its readiness to provide Lebanon with the necessary information. It was agreed to establish ongoing coordination to strengthen judicial cooperation and data exchange between the two parties.
