Benema boosts border military after attacks

After Abeldardo de la Espira took office as President of Colombia, the Panamanian government tightened its security measures along its 266-kilometer border with Colombia, especially in the rugged and forested Darién Gap area, in order to counteract criminal groups that might attempt to infiltrate across the border.
