Electronic payment system for Colloquium fees

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Lebanon, in collaboration with the Ministry of Administrative Development, has launched an electronic payment system for "Colloquium" exam fees with the aim of improving the management of the educational process and promoting digital transformation. The initiative seeks to facilitate online application submissions and reduce the need for in-person attendance. The system has been integrated with an electronic payment gateway and Net Commerce Company, allowing students to pay fees conveniently and smoothly via credit cards. This includes approximately 3,000 students who take the exam annually, 20% of whom are from abroad. This step is part of the ministry’s strategy to develop and enhance governance and educational services, with plans to expand the system to include private universities in the future, thereby increasing transparency and efficiency in administrative operations.
