ARC and ASLIB complete global ASI exam training Lebanon's wine expertise enhances
Al-Nahar, in collaboration with ARC and the Lebanese Association of Sommeliers (ASLIB), concluded the first phase of the global training program preparing for the International Sommelier Association (ASI) exams in Lebanon. This is the first of its kind in the country and one of three programs worldwide. The five-day intensive training program featured wine experts, with training led by the renowned global wine expert Jean-Vincent Ridon and overseen by ASLIB Lebanon President Joseph Mneir. The program successfully prepared participants for the final exam, aiming to qualify them according to the highest international standards, while providing digital support and follow-up training. It also fosters a unified professional culture in wine evaluation and tasting, highlighting Lebanon’s growing role as a regional training hub in the wine industry.
