The relics of Blessed Elias Hovig arrived in Tenoureen, where the locals greeted them with cheers, scattering rice and flowers, ringing bells, and carrying them by hand to the Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Upper Tenoureen. The reception was attended by Bishop Mounir Khouryallah, his deputy, Monsignor Pierre Tanios, and several priests.
