Village Exhibitions 2026 Launch with 200+ Participants

The Mount Lebanon Union of Municipalities in Lebanon inaugurated the "Village Exhibitions 2026 – Made in Ras Baalbek" fair, featuring participation from over 200 exhibitors in the food, agricultural, craft, and rural project sectors. The event aims to support local production, enhance marketing efforts, and promote sustainable economic development in the region. Agriculture Minister Nizar Hani emphasized that the purpose of the fair is to bring producers together, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and improve opportunities for exporting Lebanese products—especially with the reopening of the Saudi market and increased exports to the Gulf. Currently, Lebanon exports around one thousand tons of agricultural products daily, with plans to raise this to three thousand tons. He highlighted that the fair contributes to supporting farmers and manufacturers and serves as an important platform for introducing Lebanese products to the market. Participants expressed their satisfaction and highlighted the fair’s significance in marketing their products, affirming that it is a true platform that helps connect with consumers, expand markets, and showcase the region's economic and tourism potentials.
