Beirut and Marseille Fos Sign MOU

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Works and Transport and the Port of Beirut signed a three-year memorandum of understanding with their counterparts at the Marseille Fos Port to enhance commercial and technical cooperation between them. The goal is to modernize operational procedures, develop trade flows between Lebanon and Europe, improve maritime connectivity services and logistics, as well as promote digitization and reduce carbon emissions. This agreement aims to strengthen the strategic position of the Port of Beirut in the Mediterranean and open new opportunities for economic and developmental collaboration between the two sides.
