Economy ramps up inspections and enforcement

Reports from the Consumer Protection Directorate in Lebanon indicate that they have carried out approximately 12,744 field inspections from the start of the year up to July 17. These inspections resulted in the issuance of 560 violation notices and responses to 719 complaints. The monitoring campaigns continue in coordination with security agencies.
