Dodgers' Dave Roberts faces uncertain future
The Los Angeles Dodgers season ended with a sweep by the Milwaukee Brewers in the NLCS, raising questions about manager Dave Roberts's future. Despite his contract through 2029 and two consecutive titles, the team’s failure highlighted issues with pitching management, batting strategy, and bullpen performance. The organization is expected to focus on restructuring staff, re-evaluating player roles, and making critical roster decisions, including whether to re-sign key free agents like pitcher Tarik Skubal, whose future is uncertain. Additionally, concerns about Shohei Ohtani’s health may influence upcoming roster planning for the next season.
