Court hears Brand said it was just fun
A woman has accused Russell Brand of raping her in a hotel room during the 1999 Labour party conference, alleging he told her “it’s just fun” during the attack. Brand faces multiple charges of rape, sexual assault, and indecent assault against six women spanning from 1999 to 2009, which he denies. The court was shown a video of the woman’s police interview, where she described feeling frightened, in pain, and being pressured to accept the assault as “fun,” leading her to question whether abusers behave similarly.
