Andy Burnham to disclose Manchester City dealings

Andy Burnham plans to publish all details of his previous dealings with Manchester City, following criticism over his support for the club's owners amid their breach of Premier League financial regulations. The club was found guilty of arranging sham commercial deals between 2009 and 2018, with some funding coming from owner Sheikh Mansour’s Abu Dhabi United Group. Burnham, who only had one significant meeting with the club in 2021, stated he would release all relevant information about his interactions as Greater Manchester mayor, while emphasizing that football issues are separate from financial concerns.
