Russia hits Kyiv bridge amid German support visit
Russia has targeted Kyiv’s Northern Bridge with a drone strike, injuring two people, as German Chancellor Friedrich Merz arrived in the city to demonstrate Germany’s support for Ukraine. The attack marks the fourth consecutive day of Russian strikes on key Kyiv bridges amid an intensified campaign that disrupts daily life and threatens the energy infrastructure. Despite ongoing attacks, Kyiv’s bridges remain operational but face closures and traffic disruptions, while Russia continues to target Ukrainian infrastructure across the country.
