Hamam al-Hammami Suspected Co-pilot

Hamam al-Hammami, an Omani co-pilot, is suspected of stabbing the captain of an Israel-bound FlyDubai flight before passengers stopped the attack. The incident nearly caused the plane to crash with 182 people onboard, prompting the UAE to label it a terrorist attack. The co-pilot, who was previously barred from flying by Oman due to extremist concerns, was later hired by an Emirati airline, with investigations ongoing into his motives and connections. The injured captain managed to reopen the cockpit and restrain the attacker, helping to prevent further disaster.
