Fire on airplane engine at Lima Airport
Fires broke out in the engine of an Airbus A320 aircraft preparing for takeoff from Jorge Chávez Airport in Lima, heading to Peru. The passengers were evacuated as a precaution, with no injuries reported. The company stated that the incident resulted from an unforeseen technical issue, and emergency teams intervened to extinguish the fire, which was clearly visible on the left side of the engine and wing.
