Jordanian industrial exports reach 5.17B dinars

Jordanian industry exports increased by 7.3% during the first seven months of this year, reaching approximately 5.17 billion dinars compared to 4.82 billion dinars in the same period last year, reflecting a growth of 350 million dinars. This growth occurred despite regional challenges and global tensions. The chemical and cosmetics sector ranked first in exports, with an approximate value of 1.207 billion dinars, followed by leather and textile industries, as well as engineering and electrical industries. The Jordan Chamber of Industry added that diversifying markets, improving product quality, and enhancing export capacity contribute to supporting the national economy and overcoming global challenges, with a continued focus on diversifying the industrial base and boosting the competitiveness of domestic products.
