Over 13,600 Illegals Detained Across Kingdom

During the week, campaigns across the Kingdom resulted in the arrest of 13,628 individuals violating residency, work, and border security regulations. This includes 6,593 violators of the residency system, 3,531 of the border security system, and 3,504 of the labor system. A total of 18,549 violators were referred to their diplomatic missions, and 12,628 of them were deported. Additionally, 1,197 individuals attempting illegal border crossings were apprehended, most of whom were from Yemen and Ethiopia. The Ministry of Interior confirmed that aiding violators of security regulations exposes the involved parties to penalties of up to 15 years in prison and fines reaching one million riyals.
