Sharjah Crown Prince Chairs Council Meeting

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, presided over the Executive Council meeting of the Emirate. During the meeting, support requests for housing submitted by 6,700 citizens were approved to strengthen the stability of Emirati families and foster community development. The council also approved a plan to employ 150 passport officers at Sharjah International Airport, starting from October, to support airport expansion and service development. Additionally, the council launched the "Khatwa" license initiative for university students to enable them to engage in economic activities and promote a culture of entrepreneurship. The council reviewed a report on updating the emirate's gross domestic product estimates to enhance economic planning and data accuracy, reflecting Sharjah's economic strength and diversity of its activities.
