Iraq investigates Maysan security leaders over Saudi attacks

The Iraqi authorities announced that Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ali Fadel Al-Zaydi, has formed a fact-finding committee and dismissed security officials in Maysan Province following the confirmed launch of attacks targeting Saudi Arabia from one of the locations within the province. Additionally, the Maysan Police Chief was dismissed and security directors were transferred to different assignments in an effort to address the recent security breaches in the area.
