Saudi Arabia Opens AI Academy for 1.4 Million

The Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has launched an AI Academy with the goal of serving 1.4 million beneficiaries, announced during the "LEAP 2026" conference. This initiative is in partnership with Microsoft and also includes the establishment of the "AI Arabia" Center of Excellence to advance research and expertise in artificial intelligence. Additionally, there is a program to train 100,000 beneficiaries in entrepreneurship and emerging sectors, in collaboration with Intel and the Saudi Digital Academy. These efforts aim to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s position in artificial intelligence and national technological development.
