The Ministry of Interior announced the seizure of 14,434 individuals violating residency, work, and border security regulations across the Kingdom's regions during the period from 7 to 13 / 3 / 1448 AH, corresponding to August 20 to 26, 2026 AD. The campaign resulted in the apprehension of 6,976 individuals violating residency laws, 4,110 for border security violations, and 3,348 for labor law infractions. The Ministry emphasized that anyone facilitating illegal entry, providing shelter, or assisting violators could face penalties of up to 15 years in prison and a one million riyal fine, along with seizure of transportation and accommodation, as well as publication of their names. Citizens are urged to report violations through the toll-free numbers (911) in certain regions, and (999) and (996) in others.
