UNCTAD: Global Investment Growth Masks Disparities
The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) presented the results of its annual report on global investments for 2025, revealing that foreign direct investment (FDI) grew by 6% to reach $1.6 trillion. In developed countries, investments increased by 11% (to $723 billion), while in emerging economies, they rose by 2% (to $901 billion).
