Ports connect Jeddah with China, Jordan, and Egypt

The General Authority for Ports "Mawani" announced the addition of the "RC2" shipping service operated by Ocean Network Express (ONE) at Jeddah Islamic Port, to enhance maritime connectivity between Saudi Arabia and the world. The new service connects Jeddah Port with Shanghai, Ningbo, and Nansha ports in China, as well as Aqaba in Jordan and Suez in Egypt, with a capacity of up to 1,643 standard containers. This aims to elevate Saudi Arabia’s global ranking in performance indicators, stimulate export activity, and reinforce the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics hub on the Red Sea. The new service contributes to strengthening the Kingdom’s presence on the maritime transport map and showcases Jeddah’s readiness, thanks to its advanced infrastructure and high operational efficiency.
