Saudi Finance Ministry Signs $5B French Credit Line

The Saudi Ministry of Finance has signed an agreement with BPI France Export Credit Agency to establish a $5 billion credit line aimed at supporting the financing of projects and contracts executed by French companies in the Kingdom. This line is used to finance and refinance existing and future contracts, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and to increase the participation of French companies in development projects within the Kingdom. Officials also noted that France is among the largest sources of foreign direct investment in Saudi Arabia, with 150 investment licenses held by French nationals across 18 sectors, particularly in energy, finance, and tourism. This opens extensive opportunities for French companies to expand their operations in the Saudi market.
