China permits limited Nvidia H200 exports

A batch of advanced AI chips, the H200 model manufactured by Nvidia, has arrived in China in limited quantities, amid regulatory restrictions from Beijing aimed at guiding their use outside of China’s direct jurisdiction. Companies like ByteDance and Tencent each received approximately 10,000 processors in recent weeks, with expectations that other tech firms will soon receive similar shipments.
