Northwest China hit by 5.6 quake

A 5.6 magnitude earthquake struck the Haisi region in Qinghai Province in northwestern China this morning. The Chinese Seismic Network Center confirmed that the epicenter was located at 37.81°N latitude and 95.63°E longitude, at a depth of 10 kilometers. Additionally, the United States Geological Survey reported that the quake's epicenter was 269 kilometers south-southeast of Dunhuang. No reports of casualties or damages have been received so far as a result of the earthquake.
