Saudi Arabia Targets 70% Project Management Employment

The Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, in collaboration with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, issued a decision to increase the localization rate of project management professions in the private sector to 70%, starting from February 14th. The decision applies to companies with three or more employees and targets roles such as project managers, project management engineers, and project management specialists, in accordance with the Saudi Unified Classification of Professions. This measure is part of the labor market strategy and Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to strengthen national competencies and increase their participation in the workforce.
