Germany-Syria direct flight starts

The General Authority of Civil Aviation of Syria announced the launch of direct and regular flights between Cologne, Germany, and Deir ez-Zor, Syria, starting in September 2026 with one flight per week. Additionally, the operations of "Lif Aviation" will be expanded to include three Syrian airports: Damascus, Aleppo, and Deir ez-Zor.
