These regulations allow investors to renew their contracts early, after half of the contract duration has passed, in order to promote a stable investment environment and improve the efficiency of municipal asset investments. Extensions can be granted for up to 15 years, with a total contract duration not exceeding 25 years. A technical committee will review applications to ensure they comply with the regulations, and an annex to the contract must be signed after approval by the minister.
