Ports: Jeddah Islamic Port to receive 641 million riyals in additional investments

The General Authority of Ports, "Mawani," has launched additional investments totaling 641 million Riyals in Jeddah Islamic Port over the past three months. The aim is to enhance operational capabilities, improve container handling efficiency, and modernize infrastructure and logistics services. The investments included the addition of modern equipment, expansion of terminal areas, and an increase in cooling points from 4,800 to 9,000, as well as raising the number of cold storage warehouses from 8 to 75. These developments are designed to support growth in the refrigerated cargo sector and enhance the quality of logistics services, with the goal of transforming the port into a global logistics hub in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
