The article highlighted the cultural and humanitarian initiative undertaken by "Kalamet Foundation" and "The UAE Council for Youth Libraries" in "City of Humanitarian Emirates" in Abu Dhabi, aimed at strengthening the presence of books in the lives of children living in humanitarian environments. Accordingly, 350 informational books covering various topics and knowledge were distributed, tailored to their cognitive abilities, to emphasize the importance of reading and education as means to develop human capacities. Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi visited the city, where she reviewed the educational and social services provided to the children and families, reaffirming the significance of humanitarian partnerships and the role of knowledge in supporting development and community engagement. The initiative seeks to deliver books to children facing difficulties accessing learning resources, and to instill the values of giving and lifelong learning in schools through volunteer activities and plans to raise students’ awareness of their societal responsibility in spreading knowledge.
