Zayed Authority Supports Independence

The Zayed Foundation for People of Determination is dedicated to providing an integrated system to enhance the independence of children with special needs and promote their social inclusion through early intervention programs. Currently, the foundation offers services to approximately 399 children from birth to six years old at centers in Abu Dhabi. These services include early detection screenings, multidisciplinary assessments, and the development of individualized plans tailored to each child's needs. The programs focus on developing motor, cognitive, linguistic, and emotional skills, and encompass physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Additionally, behavior modification programs are provided, all aimed at improving the child's quality of life and preparing them for a smooth transition to subsequent educational stages. The family is actively involved in implementing the plan to ensure the continuity and sustainability of the results.
