Rise in marijuana use among some Americans

A recent study indicates that daily cannabis use among American parents has increased significantly, with at least 5.9 million children living with parents who use marijuana regularly. The research found that 8% of parents use cannabis on most days, and daily use is about four times higher than daily alcohol consumption. Experts expressed concern about the potential impacts on children and parental safety, particularly regarding impaired alertness, accidental ingestion by children, and the normalization of marijuana use in households.
