Alligator kills man fishing in Florida
A 71-year-old man was killed by an alligator while fishing at Lake Apopka in Winter Garden, Florida. The attack occurred near shoreline areas, where the 12-foot alligator dragged him into the water before being removed by trappers. Florida has a steady alligator population, and while attacks are rare, fatalities have occurred, with this being the second death in the state this year.
