Dana-Farber shifts breast cancer care to Beth Israel

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is transitioning its breast oncology services from Brigham and Women’s Hospital to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as part of a partnership announced in 2023. Starting Monday, outpatient treatments will be provided by Dana-Farber, while surgeries will be performed at Beth Israel, with plans for a new 300-bed cancer hospital opening in 2031. Dana-Farber will continue to offer surgical care at BIDMC or other hospitals based on patient choice.
