Las Vegas police to reveal body in Lake Mead barrel

Police in Las Vegas plan to publicly identify a man whose body was found in a barrel in Lake Mead in 2022. The victim, believed to have been killed between the mid-1970s and early 1980s, was shot and wearing specific clothing and shoes at the time of death. The discovery coincides with historically low water levels in Lake Mead, which have exposed multiple human remains and unidentified bodies since the lake's levels have dropped due to drought and overuse.
