Irish hotel cancels 70 antisemitism conference bookings
A hotel in Dublin withdrew approximately 70 reserved rooms for an antisemitism conference after questioning whether the Israel Defense Forces would be involved, according to Jewish community leaders. The disturbance occurred during preparations for an event addressing antisemitism, which was met with concern due to the hotel's sudden cancellation and the management’s alleged questioning of the conference's connection to Israel. Irish authorities and the hotel have not officially responded, but the incident highlights ongoing issues of antisemitism within Ireland, including reported incidents and a deteriorating climate for the Jewish community.
