Mexican Mafia suspects face charges in LA business extortion

Six individuals were arrested for extorting a business owner in Pomona and allegedly arranging a shooting targeting a man owed money to gang affiliates of the Mexican Mafia. The FBI accuses Jose “Humble” Argumedo, a member of Highland Park’s Avenues gang, of threatening the business owner, taking valuables, and being involved in a subsequent shooting attempt.
