Italy updates electoral system

The new rules aim to enhance government stability by awarding additional seats to large parties and requiring coalitions to present joint candidates and programs. Opposition parties criticized the changes as an attempt by Meloni's coalition to maintain power, amid internal tensions within her alliance.
