Omer recounts 505 days of captivity

Omer Shem Tov, a former hostage abducted during Israel's October 7 attacks and held in Gaza for 505 days, shared his experience of captivity and survival. He recounted the initial violence at the Nova Music Festival, his time in captivity—including periods of darkness and extreme hardship—and his refusal to cooperate with Hamas threats. Released in February 2025, Shem Tov now advocates for awareness and criticizes portrayals of the conflict that omit the full context, emphasizing his perspective on the violence and propaganda surrounding the events.
