Many families of US troops killed in Iran attack sidelined from White House event

Most families of the six soldiers killed in an Iranian drone strike in Kuwait did not attend a White House Gold Star families reception hosted by President Trump. Only one family member confirmed they planned to attend, amid concerns about limited notice and transparency from the Pentagon regarding the attack. The incident has raised questions about the military's preparedness and decision-making, with families calling for more information and expressing mixed feelings about the White House’s recognition efforts.
