Hilton ad faces right-wing criticism
A provocative, sexually suggestive ad by Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton has received widespread attention and condemnation. The commercial depicts two women, one encouraging the other to vote for Hilton in a manner that uses sexual innuendo, leading to backlash from both Republicans and Democrats. Hilton defended the ad as humorous and aimed at appealing to Californians seeking change, but it has been criticized by some allies and opponents as inappropriate and offensive.
