Amazon to begin disbursing settlement funds

Amazon Prime customers are eligible for increased settlement payments under a $2.5 billion FTC settlement related to deceptive enrollment practices. The company will automatically distribute refunds via electronic payment or mail to consumers who used between 11 and 20 Prime benefits in a year, starting October 1, 2026. Additional payments up to $200 may be provided if initial refunds do not reach the required threshold by February 2027.
