Woman told Cornell police she was sure she was raped two years ago

A woman filed a lawsuit alleging she was sexually assaulted by seven men at a Cornell University fraternity house after being drugged and coerced into non-consensual acts. She reported the incident to campus police weeks after it occurred, describing herself as incapacitated during the assault, and later stated she could "say with 100% confidence I was raped." The district attorney initially declined to prosecute, citing the police statement, but has reopened the investigation based on new information from the lawsuit. The university suspended the fraternity and has supported efforts to address sexual assault on campus.
