Off-duty pilots land Israel flight after cockpit attack
Two off-duty pilots on a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv intervened to land a Boeing 737 Max after the co-pilot stabbed the pilot mid-flight, causing the aircraft to descend 17,000 feet. The pilot was seriously injured and was taken to a hospital, while the co-pilot, believed to be of Omani descent and working at flydubai for less than a year, was restrained. The incident is under investigation as a suspected terror attack, with passengers capturing video of the chaos and medical rescue efforts aboard the plane.
