California mall to host nostalgic toy retailer

Toys “R” Us is opening a new standalone store at Northridge Fashion Center in California, set to launch in fall 2026. The chain previously shuttered all U.S. locations in 2018 but has since reopened select stores inside Macy’s and standalone flagship locations. The new store will be located on level 2 of the mall, near Foot Locker and Sephora.
