AI robot with one wheel may patrol your property

Estonian startup Rollo Robotics has developed a prototype of 1Rollo, a one-wheeled AI security robot designed to patrol large outdoor properties autonomously. Equipped with 360-degree vision, RTK GNSS positioning, and sensors, it monitors for unusual activity and alerts human operators when needed. The robot weighs approximately 100 pounds, can reach speeds of up to 19 mph, and has an eight-hour battery life with autonomous wireless charging. Rollo plans to offer the robot through a subscription-based model by 2027, focusing on reducing operating costs compared to traditional security methods.
